Town of Wallkill's 250th American Independence fireworks celebration
The Town of Wallkill's 250th American Independence fireworks celebration, originally set for July 2, was postponed due to extreme heat. It is officially rescheduled for Friday, August 28, 2026, at the Town of Wallkill Golf Course (40 Sands Rd, Middletown, NY). Gates and doors open at 6:00 PM.

Early voting for the primary
Make a plan to vote and take advantage of early voting.
Early voting for this years Primary is from Saturday June 13 to Sunday June 21, 2026 . Orange county will have eight sites available for early voting and sites are open to all eligible enrolled voters throughout the County.
